Al-Solaylee's "Brown" attempts to explain what it means to be racialized as a brown person in the developed world. I'd recommend this book to everyone for 2 reasons: 1.

For non-brown folks to get a better understanding of what it means to be stereotyped a certain way for being brown, and to become allies in this fight against racism, and, /5.
